Virtual Continuing Education: Keys to Successful Short Sales on Financially Distressed Properties

About

This virtual course will give agents the knowledge and expertise to assist sellers and buyers of short sale property. Enable agents to help sellers understand the benefits of a short sale related to the credit score impact, settlement of mortgage debt, and potential tax liability on forgiven debt. Help buyer’s agents search for short sale properties and how best to present an offer that protects the buyer’s interest in a distressed property purchase.

A few of the class objectives are:

  • Give attendees the knowledge to determine if a potential listing client qualifies for a short sale given the mortgage industry requirements
  • Provide an overview of the government programs available to sellers of short sale properties and the benefits of those programs
  • Provide attendees representing buyers in a short sale with an understanding of what to expect when presenting an offer and how best to protect a buyer
  • And more
