The Association of REALTORS® School offers a wide-range of courses that appeal to all levels and interests of licensees. All of the continuing education courses offered by the School are approved or submitted for mandatory continuing education credit for Pennsylvania Real Estate license renewal. Additionally continuing education courses may also provide credit toward Delaware Real Estate license renewal, New Jersey Real Estate license renewal and Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education.

Interested in holding classes for your office? The Association of REALTORS® School will also conduct classes on behalf of an office upon request. The basic requirements of any offsite class for a real estate company are; a guaranteed minimum number of students and a facility that can be approved by the State Real Estate Commission as a satellite location. Pennsylvania Real Estate License Renewal Credits

All Pennsylvania real estate licensees (salesperson, associate broker, broker) must renew their license every two years. The current renewal period began August 30th, 2020 and ends May 31st, 2022 . The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission requires all real estate licensees (including brokers and associate brokers) to complete 14 hours of education each renewal period. NOTE: For the current renewal period, the Commission is requiring that 3.5 hours of the required 14 hours must be in the topic of “Redlining, Steering, Implicit Bias, Diversity, and the Fair Housing Act”. The other 10.5 hours can be completed in elective topics.  

For most licensees, there is a requirement for 3.5 hours in “Redlining, Steering, Implicit Bias, Diversity, and the Fair Housing Act” plus the 10.5 hours in elective topics approved by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission, will total the necessary 14 hours needed for renewal prior to May 31, 2022. Exceptions are listed below:

Delaware Real Estate License Renewal Credits

A significant number of standard continuing education courses provide Delaware Real Estate license renewal credit. Credits are provided anywhere from 3 hours and above based on the length of the course and the approval provided by the Delaware Real Estate Commission. For additional information on the requirements for renewing a Delaware Real Estate license, please reference the Delaware Real Estate Rules and Regulations and Continuing Education Requirements.

New Jersey Real Estate License Renewal Credits

The Association of REALTORS® School offers New Jersey continuing education credits for most REBAC Designation (ABR, SRS, SRES, etc.) courses it offers. Credits are provided per course by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission. For additional information on the requirements for renewing a New Jersey Real Estate license, please reference the New Jersey Continuing Education Requirements and Applications.

Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Credits

Because of the natural fit between legal issues and real estate, we apply for Pennsylvania CLE credit for most courses offered by the Association of REALTORS® School. If you have a Pennsylvania Law License, you can earn credits on courses offered at our location in Malvern and our off-site locations. Credits are provided anywhere from 3 hours and above based on the length of the course and the approval provided by Pennsylvania.
